IQA completes network reinforcement modernisation projects to multi-storey flatted properties throughout Central Scotland and North West England and Wales. These projects are completed in line with the requirements of the CDM Regulations and vary in size from 56 to 192 dwellings per project.
IQA has gained and can demonstrate knowledge and experience in the management of all aspects of the works associated with network reinforcement projects including specialist sub-contracted elements. In such projects, and through careful planning and programming, various factors have to be taken into account such as building structure with regards to hole coring, cabling routing, cable containment, and possible effects of voltage drop. Continuous close consultation with the Network Operator and the relevant Local Authority ensures that the installation proposals are given approval and successful construction can follow. All joinery works associated with the MSF blocks is completed in house with our own authorised joiners.
Since 2005 IQA has successfully completed over 70 network reinforcement projects.
