Our Utilities team is also involved in Scottish Power new builds across Scotland. This involves the installation of internal mains LV supplies from the main cable head to the meter position in each flat of the property in any new or refurbished block of flats. Energising and testing is then carried out as well as reporting back to Scottish Power Energy Networks when this is complete.
Commercial premises are also worked on by IQA Utilities where supplies are installed to suit the customer's needs. This is generally a 95mm - 240 waveform Low Smoke Zero Halogen cable. We have recently carried out work at Braehead Shopping Centre, Buchanan Street and Princes Square in Glasgow and also carry out work in other premises such as factories. These high profile jobs help to show the confidence and strong working relationships we have build with our clients which we will continue to maintain and develop to suit their needs.
