Malawi Cycle
David Gowans has now returned from Malawi after cycling 370km across dangerous roads and tracks, in the scorching heat, to raise much needed funds to support LINK Community Development.
David spent the earlier part of this year battling his way fit and managed to raise a fantastic £5,000, which all goes to help build schools and improve education links in Malawi.
Following our Chairman’s successful trip earlier this year, we are delighted to announce that IQA will subsidise one of our employees to participate in the 2012 cycle in Malawi. IQA is now a corporate sponsor of LINK Community Development who organise the trip and the Malawi bike ride helps support LINK to improve access to quality education in Malawi.
St Ronan’s Band
St.Ronan's Silver Band was founded in 1810 and today is one of the most active arts organisations in the Scottish Borders. The band also operates a Future Band for young brass and percussion players as well as a training group of beginners.
IQA was recently proud shirt sponsor of St.Ronan's Silver Future Band. We are pleased to announce that they won a Gold Award at the Brass in the Park competition held at the National Mining Museum in Newtongrange on Saturday 10th September. Well done St Ronan’s!
Whiston Juniors FC
IQA has signed a 2-year strip sponsorship for Whiston Juniors FC, an under 7s team based in the North West (and Steven Gerrard’s old team no less!).
Whiston Juniors Football Club was formed in 1985 and is a local Club with 14 teams, from Under 7s through to Under 16s, with a rich heritage and superb track record to be proud of.
With our base in Knowsley, Liverpool, we are proud to be associated with this Merseyside club and look forward to supporting the team over the next 2 years.
St Mirren Boys Club (under 14s)
IQA Group is proud to announce we have signed up to a 2-season strip sponsorship with St Mirren Boys Club (under 14s). IQA is looking forward to developing the relationship with St Mirren over the next couple of years.
IQA is proud of our links with the Paisley based club. As a Company that has its roots in Paisley, IQA feel that maintaining local community links is important and this forms a large part of our ethos.
