IQA is committed to delivering excellence in all our services and compliance sits at the forefront of our operations

Operational compliance is a priority for IQA and our personnel hold over 500 electrical safety authorisation levels in line with primarily Scottish Power Energy Networks' programme requirements however over the last year we have also gained safety authorisations for SSEN and NPg. Working in close partnership with all of our clients, we will adapt our procedures and training to work in line with each of our clients’ safety rules and levels of authorisations. Aligned with this IQA have our own safety rules which allow us to work independently for works that will be adopted by DNOs.

Before any safety certificates are issued, IQA works closely with the client to ensure that all operatives are fully trained, and also have the confidence, understanding and experience to be able to do the job to the highest of standard.

Our operational compliance programme doesn’t stop there. Authorisations are a 3 year certification yet we carry out regular assessments, quality and compliance checks and refresher training to ensure our employees are always up to date.

Our in-house compliance team creates an audit trail to ensure regular training and assessments are taking place, keeping us in line with our industry accreditations. IQA has Assessing Officers for each area of the business, ensuring competencies are checked throughout. Should any gaps be identified, training is issued as appropriate.
