IQA provides High Voltage services for electrical power distribution and transmission, from initial design through installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair, to final decommissioning.

From the largest of industrial plants to small commercial installations, IQA has experienced teams, authorised to work on high voltage systems up to and including 33 kV. As well as employing experienced operatives to IQA, we have a long term strategy to train existing employees and apprentices up to 33 kV standards.

As part of our continuing growth, we aim to provide experienced jointers to carry out work up to and including 400 kV. This is highly specialised work and is testament to our commitment to excellence and a desire to provide a complete service to our clients.

IQA’s expertise in this area also includes the design, installation, upgrades and maintenance to power substations to the utility, industrial and environmental sectors. In order to increase the reliability of the UK’s power supply, work is required to ensure the local power networks are in good condition. We offer the expertise to manage all aspects of your substation service from the cable lay and overhead lines, to service distribution to ongoing building maintenance.
